Empirical model for the estimation of global solar radiation in the Aceh Besar Regency, Aceh

Solar energy plays an important role in the temperature distribution on Earth's surface and essential that sustains life for human. In calculation of solar energy, limitation radiation data is a major obstacle. very limited at some observation stations due to costly procurement measuring instruments complicated techniques. Estimation global using empirical models one way overcome limitations various locations. This study built Angstrom-Prescott model estimate based sunshine duration’s parameter Aceh Besar Regency. Two years (2019-2020) duration from Climatological Station were used 2021. Data 2021 was evaluated equation H/H0=0.28+0.22 (n/N), results showed good accuracy with RMSE value 0.052 MAPE 11% (good forecasting). The has been reliable calculate four locations
